Recorded between 2020 and 2022 during COVID lockdown, this record was a way for me to stay connected to my musical friends. I explored electronic percussion, indulging in my love of Hip Hop. I layered in the structures of these songs and my friends, in their respective home studios, added to the soundscapes.

The Sun’s Light is Hazy is not a COVID record in theme or content only in execution. This music presents some of my old identities and new understandings. It is a testament to connection and perseverance. It is also the first record that truly represents my style of music - my technique for playing guitar, my perspective as a songwriter and my voice as a singer. What I call “Slide Guitar Soul Jazz.”
